EYE FOR GAMES PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Streamline Studios Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter “Streamline”, “We”)  collect, protect, use and share information gathered about  you when you use Eye For Games websites (“Sites”). We hope this disclosure will help increase your confidence in the Sites and enhance your experience. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies to information submitted and collected online at the Sites and to our offline practices. It does not apply to websites maintained by other companies or third parties that we link to from the Sites.

 

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We rely on the information you provide to us as you visit us, contact us, participate in content contribution, surveys, post comments to public areas of and interact with the Sites, respond to our email campaigns, and participate in online events. We may also add data from external sources   extracted from third party websites. We will add information about how you interact with our offerings, your subscriptions, the events you attend, the content you download or read, and the like.

 

We and third-party service providers may use such usage data for a variety of purposes including to diagnose problems with our servers and any software and related services, to administer the services offered on the Sites, to gather demographic information and traffic patterns and to target advertising to you on the Sites and elsewhere online. Accordingly, our third-party advertising networks and ad servers will also provide us with information, including reports that will tell us how many ads were presented and clicked on the Sites in a manner that does not identify personally any specific individual. The usage data we collect is generally non-identifying, but if we associate it with you as a specific and identifiable person, we will treat it as personal information.

 

If you choose not to submit personally identifiable information when requested, you may not be able to access certain areas of the Sites and you may considerably limit the services we can provide you. However, to simply access the Sites you do not need to give us any personally identifiable information.

 

We care about the integrity and security of your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.

 

  1. INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

The Sites are not directed to children. Streamline does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age you should not use the Sites, and under no circumstances should you send information about yourself to Streamline. If Streamline discovers that a child under the age of 13 has provided Streamline with personally identifiable information, Streamline will immediately delete that child’s personally identifiable information from the Sites and preclude the child from further access.

 

  1. LOG DATA

We gather date, time, certain information about a user’s browser and system or device configuration and capabilities, navigation history and IP address for all visitors to the Sites. We use this information for our internal security audit log, for trend analysis and system administration and to gather broad information about our audiences and their geographic locations.

 

  1. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

You will know when personally identifiable information is collected because you will be asked to fill out a form. However, we may collect some information about you by using data collection technology while it may not be readily apparent to you that it is being collected. For instance, when you come to the Sites, your IP address is collected so that we know where to send the information you are requesting. An IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to enable your computer to communicate on the internet. (You can disable cookies or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being created on your computer. If you do so you will not take advantage of the full services of the Sites. To ensure the highest standards of privacy and security, we do not store personally identifiable information within cookies.

We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent unless:

  • doing so is appropriate to carry out your own request;
  • we believe it is needed to enforce the Terms;
  • we believe we are required to do so by law or to comply with legal processes;
  • we believe it is needed to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues;
  • to protect our property, legal rights, or that of others.

From time to time, we may employ and share your personal information with vendors under our control who use it solely to provide support for the internal operations of the Sites (e.g., technical support and network delivery). These entities will not use your personally identifiable information for any other purpose, and have agreed to maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the personal information they obtain from us.

 

  1. THIRD PARTY CONTENT

 When you are using the Sites, certain content may be created or hosted by a third party. Such third parties may place cookies and/or use web beacons, which may be used to identify some of your preferences or to recognize you if you have previously had contact with them. We do not control the use of such technology by third parties, the information they collect, or how they use such information. Streamline does not disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties serving ads or other content on the Sites.

 

  1. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES

You should be aware that while you are on the Sites, you may be directed to links to third-party websites. The privacy policies of these third-party websites are beyond our control and we take no responsibility for their practices. Because we cannot guarantee that the privacy policies of these websites meet our high standards, we recommend that you read the privacy policy of the website to which you link before you submit any personal information.

 

  1. INFORMATION FROM OTHER SOURCES/SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

You also can engage with our content, such as news, articles, and other offerings, on or through third-party social networking sites, such as Facebook®, Twitter® or third-party social media plug-ins and applications. When you link your account or engage with our content on or through third party social networking sites, social media plug-ins or applications, you may allow us to have ongoing access to certain information from your social media profile (e.g., your name, e-mail address, photo, gender, birthday, list of friends, your physical location and that of your access devices, the posts or the ‘likes’ you make regarding the  content or services on the Sites). We may also maintain non-personally identifiable information collected from such third-party sources (e.g., content viewed and information about advertisements within the content you have been shown or may have clicked on, etc.) from your interaction with our content.

 

The information that you provide from your social media account can enable us to do things like: (i) give you exclusive content, (ii) contact you through the social networking sites or directly by sending you the latest news or special offerings (iii) personalize your online experience with us within and outside our services, and (4) enable you to share your experience and content via social media services. By linking your social media profile to your Eye For Games account, you are authorizing Streamline to collect, store, and use in accordance with this Privacy Policy any and all information that you agreed the social networking site could provide to Streamline through the social networking site Application Programming Interface.

 

For a description on how social media services and other third party platforms, plug-ins, integrations or applications handle your information, please refer to their respective privacy policies and terms of use, which may permit you to modify your privacy settings.

 

  1. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We employ industry standard techniques and maintain appropriate safeguards that ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the personally identifiable information we collect from all users. Personal information collected by us is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. We also have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. If you request to have your personal information deleted or destroyed, we will take reasonable measures to comply with such request.

If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on the Sites so that you and other contributors or users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. It is your responsibility to periodically check our Privacy Policy for changes. If we are going to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via e-mail or by placing a prominent notice on the Sites.
By using the Sites, you signify your assent to the Eye For Games Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Sites. Your continued use of the Sites constitutes your acceptance of any modification that may be made.
